| A.Thomson & Co is a family owned business that is located in Paskeville, Yorke Peninsula (also known as the Copper Coast). Their speciality is welding, particuarly steel, but also include stainless steel welding and aluminium welding. They produce stock feeders, trailers, silos, and various other steel products. | |||||||||||||||||||
| A. Thomson & Co have been operating since 1964, and is currently a third generation business. They strive themselves on always being able to see to a welding job quickly and finished to a high standard whilst maintaining a cheerful attitude. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Allan Thomson Senior was the founder of the company. He was joined later by his son, Allan Thomson Junior. Allan Thomson Junior introduced the third generation with his son, Andrew. Allan Thomson Junior has since retired and Michael has joined with Andrew to become an unbeatable force! Combined, Andrew and Michael hold over 20 years worth of welding experience. With two young guns (Andrew's sons) following in their fathers footsteps, the company will be welding for many more years to come! | |||||||||||||||||||
| Andrew first did his trade with Southern Cross Trailers where he built Semi Trailers. Since those days, he has completed many a large welding jobs, including a large cattle ramp for a complex feedlot and a raised starter box for a motorcross track. Andrew's recent development of purchasing a tig for aluminium welding has enabled him to perform a greater variety of welding tasks. | |||||||||||||||||||
